Garry Banks – Joint Managing Director
Garry served a four year trainee apprenticeship with Thomas Justice in Dundee as a specialist shopfitter and cabinet maker.
After serving his apprenticeship he travelled the UK, working on various projects across various sectors covering all aspects of carpentry and joinery, creating a wealth of experience within a short timeframe.
He began working with Ryan in 2005 and continue to gain further experience together.
In recent years Garry has also adapted to pricing and tendering for all projects and also project manages jobs as he has SMSTS qualification along with CSCS qualification.
Ryan Mackie – Joint Managing Director
Ryan served a 4 year apprenticeship with Bett Homes as an on site joiner.
After completing his apprenticeship he started working with Garry on the island of Jersey building traditional homes.
Ryan has a wealth of experience in all aspects of carpentry and joinery and is a key player in what Claypots Building Services Ltd offer as a company.
Ryan’s role as commercial director involves him having a hands on approach on site. He is also CSCS qualified and holds Pasma and Asbestos Awareness Certification, as well as tender preparation , submitting valuations and general business accounting where he works closely with our accountant partner.
Workforce
We employ all our labour through the CIS scheme this allows us to ascertain the right amount of labour required to deliver any project and to also meet the construction or installation programme schedules.
All our joiners and shopfitters are time-served tradesmen and we have a wealth of experience within our own labour supply chain.
All our labour are registered with CSCS and some are further qualified with other industry recognised qualifications such as IPAF , PASMA , SSSTS,SMSTS and Asbestos Awareness.
